The staff for Wood Badge 2012 has been chosen and although it’s still 2011, planning for the course is underway at full speed. On one hand the curriculum for the course is provided by National so there would seem to be little to do. However, eight months to do a first class job of presenting that material is just enough!
The next big step is recruiting participants. If you are “trained in your position” and ready to take your skills to a higher level, consider attending Wood Badge. No matter what your position in scouting, Wood Badge can make your job easier while improving the program for your scouts.
If you’ve already attended Wood Badge you know how useful and fun Wood Badge is. If know someone who could really benefit from this excellent course, mention to them the value of attending Wood Badge and pass their name to a staffer for follow-up. The leader you help could help a scout tomorrow!
